What We Measure:
To understand how our products are used, we collect analytics events about your interaction with the DigitPay app and website. This includes screens and features you open, actions you take (such as starting a transfer, generating a QR code, or completing verification), how long sessions last, app performance and crash reports, and technical details like device model, operating system, app version, and approximate region derived from your IP address.
What We Do Not Measure:
Analytics events never include your PIN, password, one-time codes, full card numbers, or bank credentials. Where analytics records relate to a transaction, we capture the event type and outcome rather than the identity of the person you paid.
Why We Collect It:
We use these insights to see which features are most valuable to our users, identify where people get stuck or drop off, prioritize what we build next, fix bugs, and improve speed and reliability. Decisions are based on aggregated and pseudonymised patterns across our user base, not on monitoring any individual's behaviour.
Who Processes It:
We use trusted third-party analytics and crash-reporting providers who act on our instructions as data processors. They are contractually restricted to processing this data solely for the purposes described above. We do not sell your data, and we do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles or share it with data brokers.
Your Choices:
You can opt out of non-essential analytics at any time from phones' Settings → Privacy, or by contacting support. On iOS, you will also be asked for permission through Apple's tracking prompt and can change your answer at any time under your phone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Opting out will not affect your ability to use DigitPay; we will still record the minimum diagnostic and security information needed to keep the service safe and functional.
